What is Project Malawi CKY’s (Care, Knowledge and You)
WFP estimates that the food security is worse than the HIV epidemic in Malawi. Malawi also faces many other challenges, serve poverty, malnutrition, HIV, hepatitis, diabetes. Newly researched by Dr, Hawa Sangare’s team Cervical Cancer. Once Dr. Hawa presented the findings to Project Malawi in 2017. Project Malawi set its goals on creating an educational program and started sponsoring a 2-day Cervical Cancer clinic in remote villages under the supervision of Dr. Hawa and her team.
Since 2016 we have sponsored the following projects within Malawi, Africa:
Cervical/Brest Cancer Clinics screening 2-day Project in remote villages.
5-day eye clinic with Dr. Nkume and his team. The only specialty eye clinic in all of Malawi we collect over 1000 glasses to be donated and sponsor free surgeries to those that Dr. Nkume selects.
We support a remote village with clothes, food, hygiene products and school supplies.
Feeding Center Dream Nutritional Program where we help feed 700 children.
We assist with Dreams a non-profit clinic that supports Newborn and expecting mothers with baby clothing.
We are committed to the development and establishment of a sustainable food grow and farming program to be out in place within the coming years.
Project Malawi is a Non-Profit organization all funding is from generous donors. All work is on volunteer bases only.
